Fox News Watch Panelists:

Jon Scott: Is the host of Fox News Watch who joined FOX News Network in October of 1996, two months prior to its launch.

Jim Pinkerton: Is a fellow at the New America Foundation and joined FOX News in 1996

Judy Miller: Is a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter. She writes for Newsmax magazine and is a FOX News contributor.

Cal Thomas: Is a syndicated columnist and joined FOX News in 1997

Alan Colmes: Is the syndicated radio host of "The Alan Colmes Show" and joined FOX News in 1996

+++++

Some of Robert Murdoch's news media outlets are accused of not covering the News of the World scandal, after panelists on 'Fox News Watch' were caught talking about not bringing the issue up live on air.

Cal Thomas says: "Anybody want to bring up the story that we are not talking about tonight for the streamers?"

Jim Pinkerton replies: "Sure go ahead Cal."

Cal Thomas says: "No. Go ahead Jim."

Jim Pinkerton replies: "I'm not going to touch it."

Judy Miller: "With a ten foot Durbin."

But due to that conversation, claims are being made that Murdoch's interests in the US are deliberately going out of their way not to cover the scandal, in case in inflames interest in the States.

Thanks to CNN.

  • It`s all falling apart for Murdoch and his corrupt empire. Hope the whole lot comes crashing down on top of him and all his scumbag employees.

  • Here in the UK, the Murdoch owned press have to comment on the story because it's everywhere. As for Sky, Fox's 'sister' network here, they do maintain a level of editorial independence from Murdoch. Besides, the TV broadcasters here are regulated, so they can't be overly partial or biased. I know the idea of regulating the press is a dangerous one, but with TV I think it's necessary. When you buy a newspaper you choose which articles to read, but TV is edited for you.

Fox News lies about riots in Russia

  • Fox News showed a video of riots in Athens and told viewers it was Moscow during the protests. They are complete brainwashers.

  • If you're interested in this story then read how the alarm was raised on phonehacking back in the year 1999. The Daily Mirror, The Sun newspapers were both involved in phonehacking story in 1999 and Vodafone said on a BBC Radio broadcast that there was no risk. Check out the full story and fully documented proof at wwwhackergatecouk There's even an invoice dated 20th September 1999 from Mirror Group Newspapers titled Mobile Phone Scandal for a story that never was !!

  • @Sonofspam64

What substance is there behind Fox New’s claim of being “Fair and Balanced”!

In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed in a case against ex-employees with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States.

Lawyers for Fox News successfully argued that, under the First Amendment, broadcasters have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves.

  • @milesy49 I'm glad you're so impressed, you'd be smart like me too if you watched Fox News!
