Lotus Exige - Le Mans

Track day organized by Lotus on Track and Autotrack at the fabulous circuit Bugatti at Le Mans, France.
This was a VERY hot day, temperature over 30 degrees and much more on the track.
It was very hard for the tires. The grip was good, but the laptimes very around 2 seconds slower than on a cooler day.
The car did very well, as it is not supercharged therefore less suffuring than the others...
This Lotus Exige has Nitron suspensions, Performance Friction pads, C-One close ratio gear set, and a few other bits...

awesome skills - line and commitment are suberb! I drove my elise 111r there yesterday, and loved it, esp the first corner at 120mph! can you tell me what tyres you have on your car? I wish I watched your video more before going, your lines are great.

Yes, this first corner at full throttle with our Lotuses is "Big heart" as we say in french... But with Toyo 888, it goes pretty safely with a car correctly balanced and with a good geometry and ride height. The speed in this corner is around 185/190 km (GPS checked) with our cars. We do not have enough power to have to lift off.
