Does anyone realise that almost all of the beam routines done by chinese have the split jump where you put you head back? Well that's because Yang Bo invented. Love chinese gymnast no matter what!!!! <3

Up until lately, they have not been as consistent as innovative.... However, they have begun to challenge the rest of the world in consistency and difficulty, competitions are theirs to lose.

personally i think its good for them and yes sometimes it does seem a little harsh i know this because i was raised just as strict and felt my parents were too hard on me as a child but i'm an adult now and i will raise my children the same. Their not spoiled, they work for what they want nothing is ever given to them and they learn that this is how life is.

it really amazes me how they can remain so optimistic and happy, at least thats what it looks like. i give these girls so much credit! very strong girls, and im not just talkin physically, mentally they are so tough! thats why i love watching them i think. i feel bad that there childhood was so demanding, but god do they inspire me! and i agree, they are so much more polished then america. way to go girlies!

I love this montage. Chinese gymnasts are amazing. People are so amazed with Shawn Johnson's pass on the beam where she does a back handspring back handspring back layout when that one girl at :34 did a back handspring back handspring full!!
