Of course how could I forget! Tocantins was clearly an island. I vividly remember the palm trees brimming with coconuts, tropical jungles, and open ocean reefs. I guess they kept calling that water area a 'river' for kicks, and the references to the desert were a joke. Also I remember that they also arrived by truck in Survivor: Africa. That was a beautiful island filled with unique barren open plains, and animals that are usually only seen on the savannah.

Exactly. SURROUNDED. Kenya, China, and Brazil have coastlines, but are not islands. Additionally, islands are not land masses surrounded by any body of water. Rivers, streams, lakes, and lagoons do not surround islands. Therefore you are not right, and never were.
