Paramotor : Ditch-Diving Accident

Question. Para is something that I've been curious about for a while but seeing this really does make me think twice about perusing it.

There is no safety cut-away of the parachute should the wind take it as it did here? What would have happened if the canopy collapsed and fell in to the fan? The fan cage seems almost comically weak to safely contain a blade failure from the operator being that this gent just fell over on to and dented it badly and destroyed his prop. No secondary chute?

@captclivemason Sorry for the very late reply. I was flying the next day (prop & cage replaced with spares), and have continued to fly ever since, with a brief stop to have a hip replaced.
