Stereotypes wouldnt even have existed at all if in the beginning the "straight acting" gays had had the guts to stand up for and be true to themselves. @romeostruedude I personally dont think there's anything wrong with gays being viewed as flamming fasion designers etc. You talk about the traits associated with the gay stereotypes such as femininity, fashion, Lady Gaga etc as if they were bad things. They are not! if u r not fine with them that's your issue but dont devalue others who happen to like those. You want ppl to understand and value your things yet you trash others for being themselves and the things they do. What a hypocrite.

Everyone view gays as flamming fashion designers and stylists who worship Lady GaGa and Britney Spears as if it is the only thing we are known for. There are people out there that are masculine trying to make a difference! It isn't our fault we aren't being recognized! It's unfair people like Brad get tv shows.

@romeostruedude How is he annoying because he doest conform to gender norms? So now only ppl who act according to genders should be successful and happy in life? If the "manly" gays stopped being so insecure about their sexuality and being hiding it there would be more present in the media dont you think? They all say they are fine with being gay etc yet always want to be DISCREET and have the guts to devalue others who are braver.

@carrowsboy I feel you man. I am tired of this stuff as well. Not everyone who is gay likes fashion and has wrist problems. Who cares if he is a stylist or has a fashion sense? That is boring. I wish television would project gay dudes who were really dudes. Like Neil Patrick Harris. That dude rocks and is hilarious and has true acting talent and is married to a guy and has two children he adopted! This Brad guy? Heck. No.
