What a Great Lady and the song fits so good to what I am going through. On Dec. 19 2011 she sent this song to me in her concert that I was at.

Good song and great singer. --- I first heard of her through a lady friend of mine from Nova Scotia. Actually she was much more than a lady friend, when we parted she took a part of my heart with her and she'll always be a strong memory, but life moves on. A song that we both shared sung by Rita MacNeil was named, "I'll Accept the Rose Tonight". I can't find that song, if you can find and post it I'd appreciate it immensely. --- thanks for sharing

I used to have this on a couple of compilations. What would you call the thing she's wearing? A Mrs Roper dress? A caftan? A gown? A hot pink mumu of death? Didn't she have her own talk show for a while, or was it a one-off special?

I always loved her songs, voice and her words for so long from the first moment I saw her special on TV in the 80's. I love her smile. She is a great lady. She is really a Canadian treasure
