its the cross-type phillips screw driver, some psp's have star shaped screws.

try finding replacement on a store.its easy to replace than to fix..

what kind of screw driver can you use to open the screws on top of a PSP 2000 SLIM that you mentioned in 0:32 ?

@Daprotecter 1000 is big and bulky, 2000 is obviously lighter and slimmer, 3000 looks alot like the 2000 except the Home, Select and Start buttons are more rounded like a circle

@dragonator8161ex unfortuntly id say ud have mto replace it i had to on mine but its real easy just a bit fiddly but i manged to do it when i was 13 and i can barly speel so id say u can do it

@dragonator8161ex disassemble it get out the analog stick take it apart and rub the entire thing down with alcohol
