I was so proud of her for telling me how she felt and encouraged her to tell me her feelings, good, bad or ugly - It is ok to feel all these emotions. Then I scooped her up and we went to the 3rd floor of the hospital and raced each other up and down this empty hallway...most calories I have burned in a week! This is a learning curve for all of us - and learning to give everyone what they need will be a challenge... but I will do my best." - Amy Potvin.
