I think Korg, Roland and Yamaha should set up a division to focus on modern day analog synths with all the bells and whistles of digital but REAL analog. Do they not get it that a laptop can do ALL of the sounds in their new digital toys whilst running Windows and Cubase? Modern hardware is so boring and there is nothing classic about the sound anymore as it all sounds the same. There is a growing market for all of these old beauties and it isn't going away soon. Bring back Analog.

DIGITALSCREAMS - if you haven't already you really should make a full mix or song out of that short piece at 2:46 - its an excellent little melody!

This VIDEO IS DIGITAL VST. ANALOG SOUND SO MUCH SMOOTHER AND BETTER. NOT ANALOG!
-
@2009korte O and this video is Digital not Analog! my Monopoly kills this sound.
-
@2009korte You come to my place and hear for your self. Emulation it will never sound identical. the filter itself cannot be replicated digitally. Once you record this synth through HD converters it's just sick. Digital is just ok sounding why do you think people pay 2k for it.

vsti version sounds identical

1:21 ?? Song? Tutorial? I just wanna know how to play that little 18 second rift.

@maccagrabme , I agreeeeee old analog rules. I have this synth and I will never sell it, I would sell my micron any day for another korg monopoly.
-
Enlightening! I had never considered using the mono/poly for percussion. How about making a youtube cookbook?
-
lol, maybe learn to hear the difference between digital harsh-sounding synths and real analog stuff :p
-
its not dry, whats the reverb?
Is this the VST or the hardware mono/poly. If it's the VST version I'd be amazed!

Yes, thats right.....they are the official Korg US promotional tapes. I did not mean to say I created them......I thought that would have been obvious ;)
