FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE REPUBLICAN LAWRENCE EAGLEBURGER when asked Thursday if he thought Sarah Palin would be ready to take over in a crisis, Eagleburger said, "Of course not."

When asked what he thinks of Palins ability to assume the Presidency if 72-year old John McCain dies in office, he responded, "I devoutly hope that would never be tested."

"I don't think at the moment she [Palin] is prepared to take over the brains of the presidency."
