  • This is probably one of the silliest things I've seen in quite a while.

  • Yes! Mildly amusing..................Back then

  • I quite Lee Nelson, he's comedy is smart if you ask me.

  • I always do a dance like that when the fridge door opens and the light comes on! :D

  • @CapitalBhoy78 Oh, thank god, I'm not the only one who wants Jack Whitehall to die in a fire

  • I heard some famous guy had chosen his most favourite comedy doubles a few weeks ago.

He put Morcambe and wise TENTH!

First place was a two people who arent even funny.

My advice - Stay away from him.

  • @anonUK - I have a lot of admiration for them as people. Their success was incredible. But people saying they were comic genius and saying 'that's the funniest thing I've ever seen'. I just don't get it. I love comedians, even the old ones like to Goons, Monty Python and the two Ronnies but I've never been humoured by Morecambe & Wise. Each to his own I suppose.

  • @anonuk

Yes a very valid point! I retract my previous comment

Ronnie Barker could write and perform comedy which ranks alongside the greatest any British comedian ever produced, it's just that sometimes he liked to perform absolute shite as a change. Sometimes, he even wrote rubbish, just so he could be in it.

  • @ravenlek

Vic and Bob subvert the music hall/ working men's club/ end of pier tradition- there's a lot of Python in there for a start, as well as more modern influences.

TBH, Morecambe and Wise did a lot with mainstream TV comedy that made a crossover with more 'adventurous' comedy possible.
