  • Well, I for one can't say anything bad. I don't play very well. It's a whole lot better than I could do. I can't wait to hear Take 2. If that wasn't practiced, just wait 'til you get it down. Wow! Thanks for sharing. Keep rockin'.

  • Thanks Man Take 2 Will Be Here Soon! Im Pretty Sure I Have It Down Now!

  • Another fine effort. Great that you also learn the solos as well. Like Warmachine stated, I also took some time learning this one.

Remember this, those who can play will not be critical of your playing - those who can't play and are wankers will.

Keep on playing and posting your work mate and I will continue to watch.

    Thanks for having a go.

  • thanks, i appreciate the commet. I hadnt practiced this very well. and it dosent sound too good on clean guitar. But like the title says "-(Take #1)-

  • I can't say that I know much about the effects, but Jendell has a point about your strumming. This is a laid back ballad, and you're almost hitting the strings like it's One of their harder sounding songs.

I've been trying to learn this strong but I have trouble string skipping, so it's taking me a while, but for a first take, it sounded rather decent. Can't wait to see the improvements you've made in the sequel.

  • Here are some pointers:

-Master the rhythm part first before you even practice the solo. This will actually help make learning the solo easier.

-Learn some more pick hand control. You are attacking the strings too hard where you shouldn't be. A thinner pick might help.

-Play around with different tone settings. The tone you got here just doesn't work. A chorus effect would also help.

  • Very good.

  • thanks for the comment i appreciate it....maybe i'll try an improved version later on
