Use JADmaker to get a .jad file for google maps. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Telephony-SMS-GSM/JADMaker.shtml
Just drag the jar file into jadmaker and it will spit out the jad. You need the jar and jad to run it.

Neither. It has no idea where you are. You just give it a starting point and a destination and it shows you how to get there. It's like using google maps on the computer.
