@EggYolk TBH I never noticed the date. Silly me.

@RyanScfc1 hehe a lot has happened in the year since I posted that comment. I got the new rig, and it runs on Ubuntu 10.04 ;)

@EggYolk Have a go at Ubuntu. I am not hating any OS but Ubuntu does own them both in my honest opinion. Though since you can't use certain Windows software on it, you may not like it, but Wine emulates windows and you can run certain things. You can also use virtualbox to actually boot up a Windows partition from inside your Ubuntu.
I highly recommend.

i missing W95 Plus! edition :-)

Heh. That's awesome. I never realised that the Microsoft logo existed before Windows 3.1

Yeah actually now I've built my own rig and plan on getting windows 7 when it's released. I operate with a co worker who uses apple, and over time from working on both OS's, we've realized they both own and fail in there own areas. So, I've stopped being a fanboy of either and just laugh at the wars between them now. I respect both for what they do.

i remember 3.1 :p

what did you expect to see in this video?

Windows 98 FTW! ^_^
Talk about posterity! It didn't even depict any bootlogos from the NT series. You could have documented the NT series too (3.1, 3.5, 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista).

As I said in the information box, these are only the DOS-based versions of Windows.
