  • Crass were part of a long lineage of artists who pushed against the established boundaries of what was considered possible (as well as permissible), and helped create some of the cultural breathing room we have today.

As a grown up, their work is more relevant to me now than it was when I first heard them twenty six years ago.

  • "Cultural breathing room" - i like that !

  • Great to hear him speak. So many people have scrambled their marbles from his generation, good to see he had the fortitude and prescence of mind to CONTINUE exploring. Cool guy.

  • nice words on the "anti-christian" stance.

  • alright bloke isnt he?

  • @GriefTourist yeh punk did its job, but the "fight" has moved on. diferent times diferent word, more apathy, kids more contained within the "system... time for the oldies to rebel now. need a new edge for the times we are in now. solar and wind for our own housing schemes, supporting ourselves without their fukin jobs and shite, police ourselves, and fuk the gangsters both legal and illegal

  • @emberlivingood

Exactly! When I was a kid I was like many fans who took everything almost as gospel. Now I find I disagree with many of the lyrics but the core message is more relevant than ever. Think for yourself and don't be a pawn. Try and question everything.

  • Crass - Penny Rimbaud, Gaius - Richard Wilson

  • Rubysoholove, its nice to see a young person who doesnt want to be a part of the current culture. But to widh your life away is redundant, become the person you wish to be, become an example to others of your age and save the world from us old fuckkas.

    Peace.

  • This guy is real.
