SINOPSE
Raízes é uma representação alegórica da vida e da morte numa comunidade neolítica. A história ilustra o início do sedentarismo num período onde o ser humano ainda vive numa dependência harmoniosa com a natureza, da qual depende para sobreviver. Há pastores, caçadores, agricultores rudimentares. Um dia Ancu, um importante caçador da tribo, morre. Toda a actividade cessa para dar início à preparação da passagem de Ancu para um outro mundo, espiritual.

Raízes is an allegorical representation of life and death in a neolitic community. The history illustrates the beginning of human settlement, at a time when man was still entirely dependent on nature to survive.
There are shepherds, hunters, farmers live a rudimentary lifestyle.
One day Ancu, an important tribe hunter dies. All activities cease to begin the process of preparing the passage of Ancu to another spiritual world.
