GP2 2011: Massive crash as Rigon hits the pitwall and breaks his ankle.

Huge crash as Leal tries to overtake Rigon but mistimes it and spears Rigon into the wall at a nasty angle. The suspension broke through the cockpit and fractured is foot/ankle in mutliple places. Ouch - Injury update "Coloni driver Davide Rigon will undergo surgery tomorrow in Istanbul after being diagnosed with multiple fractures to his tibia and fibula following his crash in the GP2 sprint race this morning." That is really poor car design. If that crash fractured his ankle, they need to look at current IRL nose design. That was a rather light collision to cause a piece of the suspension to breech the cockpit.

@CrawfordPhotography OK I only said that a massive crash in my opinion it's harder, this one it's noy very big but bad luck for the driver, because I've seen a lot bigger crashes and the drivers weren't injuried.
