  • My oldest brother was a sophomore at Siemeon in 1984 and was there when Ben was shot and killed by these piece of shit thugs! My bro even went to his funeral and said he wore his jersey lying in his casket and said that Benji had so much potential to be an NBA legend and I believe him. I was 4 at the time and remember his murder was all over the news here in Chicago.

  • LOL Shoot over brothers, not at them.

  • I was 9. I remember it like yesterday.

  • I never met Ben but I knew his brothers, Anthony in particular. I knew their mom too and attended her funeral. It's so sad that this happened and look at Chicago now, even worse.

  • I will never forget that day, I had just lost my grandmother two weeks prior to this sad, sad incident, this was really sad times for me , that year earlier I had watched Simeon win the state championship, and me and my friends was in awe of Ben Wilsons talent ,and for to be six nine inches playing like a point guard , not many players was doing that with the exception of Magic Johnson , man this bring back many sad memories, but the sad thing also is kids are still being killed !!!!!

  • I was i believe 7yrs.old when he died, i am now 33yrs.old, i heard off benn from my uncles,,i also seen a story about this amazing love man it brought me to tears and i told my daughter to do his story for black history, he was going to be something great if only he was given the change

  • thank you for ur support.

  • god bless you and your family...I lived in Rockford at the time and was deeply saddened to hear about his death...I was planning on going to the tournament to watch him play the weekend after his murder...He will never be forgotten...Stay in prayer in knowing that your uncle is in a better place..

  • Rest in peace brother god bless your soul.

  • gone but not forgotten
