V interesting clip, watched the Thin red line last night, i always find it quite interesting to see peaceful beeches today that were so filled with death & destruction back then, such a thought provoking contrast

yes, its hard to think of what happened now.when i hiked up to THIN RED LINE in 1999 the grenade pins from the assault party were still lying on the ledge near the Japanese MG position.

I grew up from those areas - Tulagi. I went to mcmahon school - Blue beach, and I am glad to see those recaps from the wwII days at exact locations. Hope to visit the region this year. Pround of your service!

glad you liked the photos.Tulagi is nice and quiet after the noise and rubbish on Guadalcanal. I hope to get back there again this year too.
