PETA went inside Japans largest horse slaughterhouse in early 2009 to expose a little known fact about horseracing. When horses can no longer perform many are sent to slaughter.

@libertytooth I really really love horses and I wouldnt slaughter or eat them, but I can't be self righteous and say what these people are doing is wrong. WHen Ferdy was no longer productive they used him for something else that is more productive. It's not as if they were just dumping their bodies to be laid to waste. It's sad to watch but I agree with you =(

personally, Id rather eat a kentucky derby winner and send the regular horses to the alpo factory.....
