ATTENTION: I am NOT TheAmazingAtheist. I am a Ron Paul supporter. This video is a reply to TheAmazingAtheist for a video he made with false statements against Ron Paul. He doesn't like Ron Paul because he's not a flaming lib but that doesn't mean he should misrepresent Ron Paul's philosophy and political views.

  • @AmericanWayne Whoever thinks what Ron Paul says are lies...is a complete waste of oxygen on this planet and should not be allowed to speak...AmericanWayne,you are obviously the ignorant one here you piece of shit!!! go suck a dick you big faggot motherfucker...RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • He's right

Marriage should be a religeous matter NOT a state matter, this includes ANY financial benefits.

Why would gay people want to marry under a religious institution that hates them?

Don't get me wrong they absolutely MUST have the same rights as we do, I'm not disputing that and neither is Ron Paul. But Ron Paul is a secularist, and it comes as no surprise that he is opposed to gay marriage, because it enforces religion in state matters...

  • great way NOT to refute any of his claims.

  • @ghostrj hahaha religious matter marriage, thats against seperation of church and state....

  • I can see why this Ron Paul went into politics, he is good at twisting word so it seems like he's given an answer to a question when he hasn't, the current PM of the UK is the same, and being a manipulator of words is a trait i hate in a political representative.

  • @FindSomeChange88 You can't be serious, this guy is defending ron paul against someone who is spreading lies about him. He is showing the person spreading the bullshit and what he is saying and then showing Ron Paul saying something that disproves the first guys statements. You sir, are the obviously ignorant one here. It even shows in the video that he is not the man making the claims of lies in the video. How do you not see this?

  • If marriage is a religious institution, then why are secularists able to marry? Why can Atheists, Agnostics, Wiccans, etc. get married? All you have to do is go to a court house or have a secular wedding. You never have to talk to a priest or step inside a church. :/ I just thought I'd point that out. I like Paul the most out of all of those running under the GOP flag, but that's one point where I just kind of facepalm and wish people would see that that belief is wrong.

  • liar or ignorant? My answer is banana ass-shoveler

  • This was pretty fail. On your end, if that wasn't clear.

  • @biobotism also, regarding the 'gay marriage' comments, Ron Paul clearly states he wants the church to be the governing body on the legality of marriages. The church clearly and repeatedly state their very clear views on gay marriage, and so by Ron Paul wanting the church to rule on the legality of all marriages, he is clearly indirectly supporting a body that opposes gay marriage, regardless of whether he does himself or not! Again, it's just pedantic to accuse AA of lying here.

  • Ron Paul states that he wants the government to be distinct from religion, but he also clearly states he wants more power to be given to religion to be self-governing, as can be seen with the comments regarding how the church should rule on the legality of marriage. To me, AA's comments relate to the church's ability to govern and how the church should not have any legal powers, and to claim he's lying when he says Ron Paul opposes separation of church and state is just pedantic.

  • Is TheAmazingAtheist Liar or Ignorant?

    The answer is: Both.

  • @vpotter2010 But wait, I am a fan of The Amazing Atheist... and he would be one to tell you that everything he says is based on his opinion and always subject to change if he learns or is drawn to see otherwise... even Ron Paul would say not to condemn AA for his beliefs, instead state your case with a civil, professional, and well researched mind and stop resorting to all the negative banter that pollutes these comment threads. We need to stop fighting each other and become allies before its...
