  • Thanks for the video. I think eventually I would have figured it out but this sure saved me a lot of hassle.

  • Thank you for the helpful tips, saved us a repair call!

  • You guys just save me $200. Thank you!

  • Great video. Helped me save more than 300 dollars! Easy to follow. Thanks.

  • Great video! I used it as a guide for a slightly different model (duet sport ht). Only difference was a screw fastening the front panel cover. Make sure you have a spouse/friend over to help with the spring clamp...makes it much easier. Also, I purchased the replacement boot seal from repair clinic, they had the best price and it arrived within 3 days. Thanks!

  • Thanks! Saved me time and money. The control panel was a bit hard to get off. Right side had a tab that broke off- must be for transporting or first time install. It went back in place fine.

  • Great video. Gave me the guidance I needed to replace the boot in my HE3 washer. My washer was configured in a slightly different way--no removable front trim--but it was easy enough to figure out what to do. A few points of note--when removing the heavy front cover there was a clip that needed to be removed as well as the wire harnesses. In addition, there was a tube running from the bleach compartment to the gasket that also had to be removed. Again, the video had all guidance I needed.

  • This video is perfect for the amateur handyman! Be careful with removing the front control panel so the brackets won't be broken.

  • Before you start check that the screws are star screws (with a bolt outside). You can get the screws out using a socket wrench if you don't have a star wrench, except perhaps the one in the dispenser housing. I ended up having to go to the hardware store in the middle of the repair to get a star wrench set to get that one.

  • Very helpful video! I did this job within 30 min. I have a Duet that was a little bit different, ( no trim ring, and no dispinser tube and only one mounting screw in the dispinser housing.) but it was just the same install.

My screw in the dispenser housing was a tork so be prepared. GREAT VIDEO!
