I still remember watching John Wedemeyer and trio 20 years ago in San Jose and some major dive bars with my jaw to the ground. So f-ing talented and never sold out. This is TRUE talent. Not many better than them. Incredible. I could watch him play for hours and hours. Jimmy created this music in this vid, but lets be honest.. he cannot play nearly at the technical ease/level Johnny can.

I think John looks a lot like David Gilmour. I'd like to hear some Floyd or Gilmour solo riffs from John. That would be awesome. Let's start with, uh "Until We Sleep".

Well, I'm a little (ahem!) late in replying, but thanks man, I appreciate the sentiment. Unfortunately, I won't be able to take you up on your offer, since I moved to Omaha in 2004! I have SO many great memories of seeing WHat play over the years in bars and clubs all over the Bay Area. I even saw them open for the Dixie Dregs at the Edge in Palo Alto! Talk about a prestigious gig for them. I would give anything to have a DVD of this show for this night on youtube just to relive the memories.
