3 How to Install an LED Light Bar under a cabinet
We need more light over the cutting board.
First, let's look for an outlet for the 12V adapter.
That's the only near the counter, but it's used for appliances
Plus, the adapter cable is white, so it won't look that good against the grey backsplash.
Aha! There's the outlet the fridge is plugged into!
A viewer has pointed that the refrigerator must be on its
For this install, we'll use a 20" waterproof light bar, a light bar adapter, cable, and a 12V dimmer switch.
Let's estimate where the bar's going to go.
It's a 20" light bar, so let's put the clips 18" apart.

Now let's plug the light bar into the light bar adapter cable.
Here comes the hard part. Better have another cup of coffee.
Just pop the bar into the clips.
Plug the dimmer switch into the adapter.
And plug the light bar into the dimmer switch.
Now let's just tuck the cords up out of sight with some tacks.

  • what song is playing?

  • @gma609 It's a track from "The Grey Album", which is Danger Mouse's mash-up of the a capella version of Jay-Z's "The Black Album" and the Beatles' "White Album". Because of copyright issues, it can't be sold, but you can find it online.

  • What a complete messy install!

  • @CremeBurlee1 You can buy the LED strip and power connector on our website at ElementalLED. To attain the Ambilight TV effect, you may use regular light strip or RGB strips, apply them to either the back of the TV or the wall that it is mounted on and power them up through your normal power source set up. We do not have an interface unit that will allow the lights to react to what's on the TV display.

  • @sssaksena All the LED strips and power connectors are sold separately on our site. YT doesn't allow links in comments so just check out our site that's at the end of the video. We also have a customer service number, email and live chat option if you need anymore help. Thanks!

  • @mescekchoppers1 Thank you!
