A video project for my Portuguese class at USAFA. This is the first version of the video without the Portuguese narration about BOPE. BOPE stands for Batlhão de Operações Policiais Especiais (Special Police Operations Battalion) and is basically Rio's version of SWAT. They are a highly trained and heavily armed force. You don't want to mess with BOPE...

BOPE is a special police from RIO DE JANEIRO .. But in SÃO PAULO we have GARRA it's a dagneours police too .. I prefer SWAT (USA) they're better,fast and smart .. But bope's a very good police too
