The microwave is one of the most convenient ways to prepare a meal. However, it is one of the worst places that a meal can be prepared. I suggest steaming your vegetables and cooking your meat on the stove or grill. The microwave not only dehydrates and robs you of the important nutrients that your food carries. You are probably also getting yesterday's meal residue in the food that you are heating up today. Also, plastic containers-are not recommended for microwaving.
