I think that you should go on a hot air balloon ride! That would be so fun, but maybe cold. I also think a facial, a pedicure and manicure. I think the cake should be an eye shape with your eye color, long voluminous lashes, and your favorite shadow colors, plus a brow. Hope the idea makes some sense. Happy birthday!

on birthdays and other special occassions my friends, family and I throw a little party/dinner. we play silly games and give away dinky prizes. also we set out disposible cameras and allow our guests to take random pictures thoughout the event! sounds dorky but everyone totally loves and we are all, or almost all, 21+... just goes to show that you are only as old as you feel!! have fun Carol and Happy B*day!

Well I'm not the best when it come to developing original ideas for parties --mostly bc I don't know your tastes personally. I think you have the greatest personality- genuine, excitable, HAPPY, and overall you deserve a surprise party. A surprise party with all of your besties and all of your favorite foods, each bff would bring a gift that would be based off of an inside joke shared btwn you. at the party every1 would share the tales and you could relive the time with them and crack up!

lol @ "trying to trick my ass into loving turning 30" ... well I'm just seeing this video so I'm really late but {new subbie!} but as far as what to do if you haven't already done this is have a spa day w/ your favorite gal pals... that is always a good way to celebrate and make urself feel lovely . For your cake, your MAC compact idea was a good one...it could say something like "Turning 30 and still looking good" lol idk. That is a great idea w/ the Sumou {spell check} costumes...sounds fun!
