Since the United Nations created it in 2006, the Central Emergency Response Fund has brought fast, reliable and effective aid to millions of vulnerable people around the world.
This nine-minute video tells the story of a grandmother in Haiti, struggling to recover after her house was flooded, and a father in Kenya, who sees his family threatened by drought.
The Fund has brought life-saving aid to both.
Directed by Francis Mead
Music by Heidi Siegell and Rolando Gori
I know someone who worked for the UN in Haiti... let's just say, if you heard the stories he's told me about how the UN functions and how much it pays its staff for their services - You wouldn't think the UN is doing its "job".
