Claudine Collart was born near Lille in 1922. As a student, she sang with Edith Piaf. She made her debut at the Salle Favart in 1945 as Rosina; in this theater, she also sang Sophie (Werther), Minka (Le roi malgré lui), Micaela (Carmen), Mme de Saint Amour Der Schauspieldirektor), Lakmé, L'Enfant et les Sortilèges.
Claudine Collart left the Opéra-Comique in 1947 and went to Alger: between october and december 1947, she performed Philine (Mignon), Gilda (Rigoletto), Eudoxie (La juive), Lakmé, Marie (La fille du régiment), Micaela (Carmen), Ophélie (Hamlet), Sophie (Werther), Néméa (Si j'étais roi) and Mireille.
Then, Claudine Collart was engaged at the french radio in 1948, and she sang there until 1973 (mainly under Jules Gressier). Claudine Collart never appeared again on a theater stage after 1948, but gave many concerts (she was invited, as Nadia Boulanger's "protégée", to perform for Grace Kelly's wedding in Monaco in 1956.
Claudine Collart performed more than 400 works, opera, operetta, requiems, french melody, symphonies, etc... Sometimes more than 8 different works in a month!
