I fail to understand how non-gay people are able to participate in a debate about gay issues. I suppose it would be like having a debate between blacks and the KKK on whether or not they should be allowed on buses. The idea is absurd.

Semantics. Laws are always changeable.

Laws are not called laws because they are designed to be changed. A law is created to be perfect during the time it is written. However, a perfect law is almost impossible to come by. So, over time and with an ever-changing society, we overturn laws, and write them again. And justice? Justice is not infallible. Best case: O.J. Simpson trial. Where was justice then?

I don't understand how a state can pass a law for certain same-sex couples to get married. But, not for "all" same-sex couples. That is some bull-shit! I believe it's involving a person with too much power...who is holding a grudge. Or maybe it's someone who is pissed-off because they thought they were going to get into a relationship with a person who is gay or lesbian. And is trying to abuse laws to attack that person. Or even, hoping to force that person to change their life. Loveface43

michealjackson200...1 no it doesn't because they can adopt 2 i know its love, gay people love 3 marriage is a human right not a heterosexual privilege 4 there have been cases of heterosexual couples with ferrets 5 also where gay marriage is legal there is not as much homophobia because heterosexual such as myself realise that it does not affect our live, it makes people happy...not making the sky fall down

Laws are designed to be changed. That is why it is called the Law, and not justice.
