I'm just grateful to hear Kenny sing a song that doesn't sound like a Jimmy Buffett knock off. I'm glad to see the Eagles music continuing to appeal to a new generation. . . it just proves their true songwriting genius and staying power. Stil, I prefer my precious Eagles. . . .call me protective, but this song is almost sacred, and few people except The Eagles can really do it the way it was meant to be done. I may be a prick, but that's my opinion.

I may be bias but I like kennys version he obviously likes the song and it shows in his performance and for me thats the most important thing . Its not a bad thing to freshen up an old song and maybe along the way sell a few albums for the eagles too ?
