Its hard to find HIGH QUALITY boxing matches on the internet. Most of the internet videos are choppy. You cant appreciate a true boxing match like that. Its hard to see combinations, and the way punches are being landed. You get an idea of what happened, but you are missing out a lot. The best fights to see on the internet are the ones that finish via KO, and even knockouts are hard to appreciate over the internet. I want to see clear punching techniques. I want to study the sweet science.

If I was Calderon, I would fight for less money on ESPN FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS, and networks like that, in hope of getting a wider fanbase that allows me to fight in HBO, SHO or major PPV events. Hay que dar del ala para comer de la pechuga.

Due to the fact I have never seen him fight, and that all his fights go the long distance, I dont care about this fight at all. Calderon needs to get a better promoter. His boxing is unknown among fight fans from PR like me. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT??? Its ridiculous. Calderon needs more exposure. If you ask me, those crappy PPV events in which he usually participates have killed his career.

You wont believe this, but I have never seen Calderon fight. Calderon rarely fights in TV, and when he does (lately) its always on a crappy PPV card. Those rip-off PPV cards are never retransmited by HBO or ESPN.

dude this match is hard 2 predict! on da one hand, calderon wants to be undefeated and hes got that as a motivation but on da other hand Mayol has got good support now with Pacquiao because da only reason Mayol lost to Solis in their match up was because his training sucked!
but i think Calderon will win but it will be by points!! no knockout and da match will only be stopped if theres another headbutt involved lol anyways im hoping that Mayol will win. im always a sucker for the underdog!

I predict a headbutt, Period.

I think Calderon will be more cautious this time. Mayol is much more motivated right now because a younger pinoy just won a world title in the expense of a very durable veteran in Jose Lopez.
