PS3 Playstation Network help

@Tommy20Kidx No it doesn't. This video is over 3 years old, and I am using the same console, which isn't banned. I just didn't have my router set up correctly.

do you need internet for a ps3?

or can you also play games without internet?

@xcanlon The only times you NEED internet is if you need to download a software update. This can be done on a computer and transferred via usb to the PS3 though. However, internet makes the PS3 MUCH better of a console. The only time you cant play games without internet is if the game requires a software update.

I found a way how to fix this problem.

first you go to your router settings ( ip address of your router on internet)

then you click firewall settings. there are 5 options

you want to put None, well thats what I put, I had MEDIUM.

and that fixed the problem.
