General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Issues Clear Warning to NATO. Chief of Army Staff General Kayani has officially passed a notification allowing for full-scale retaliation in case of any aggression.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, Army chief has given permission to engage with the enemy even if it requires firing into Afghanistan.
Local units have been tasked to gather up large amounts of weapons and ammunition.
Sources said Kayani suspended the command and chain system in order to enable the senior officers on the posts to take appropriate action if Pakistani forces come under attack.
The decision would however be applicable to eventualities involving NATO troops.
Any attack on Pakistan will be retaliated with full force and senior officer of the post will be authorized to decide any action if attacked, no need for prior approval any more.

@susanprice371 Well...I see it more like a blessing rather than disgust. See Firstly, The Army had lost its popular support over the years due to its involvement in US War of Terror. Thanks to NATO...the Army has the popular support back in full force. Secondly, I never thought Pakistan would ever be able to get outa this mess that we had gotten into after becoming US Ally in the WOT & again thanks to NATO...we now are rapidly getting our asses outa it.

@susanprice371It doesn't matter how much parties were involved unless they were involved in fighting with the Mujahideen against the Russians. Oh! Taliban r so in control of the whole country that even the road to Kabul now officially falls under Taliban controls Afghanistan. Look at the big picture yourself babe! Even Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai has vowed that in an event of US invasion on Pakistan, His Govt will be supporting Pakistan. Thats a real blow to your American buddies in ISAF.
