The director general of the organization of the Islamic conference, Allal Rachdi, said on Tuesday in Cairo that trade between the members of the organization reached USD 275 billion dollars in 2008. Trade between Islamic countries represented 16.6% of their overall trade last year against 10% in the year 2000. Rachdi underlined that his organization is taking a number of measures to boost trade between its member states. Concerning Morocco, its trade with the other members of the organization was 12% of its overall commercial transactions.
"Organization of the islamic Conference" is a fancy way of saying a "Saudi funded cartel of islamic dictatorships."
