I am in awe of their capacity to recall word perfect particularly 'tongue-twister' sentences.And Allan Bennett is a joy! His 'Talking Heads' series of monologues was just superb.

I'm so glad that you posted this, as my parents and grandparents always used the word tumpty, but none of my daughter's or sons' friends will believe that the word even exists, and Google does not return a meaning except in Rumpty-Tumpty.
Any idea where the word comes from?
