To avoid stuttering, try to use a shutter speed of no higher than 1/50 in 24p and 1/60 in 30p mode.

I would recommend trying the 30 day demo of sony vegas pro 9.0. If that breaks the bank, they have a lower end version that I have not used, but you can certainly try a demo first.

Hi! I know I need a serious camera but I need a serious "deal" on one. Is this camera one that is a great camera for a great price? I want to do macro. Do you know a lot about cameras or just this brand? etc.
What about the mic? My video camera has a couple of options besides the built-in one. I'm not sure which is better. One is wireless.
Thanks:)

Lots of questions :)
I'll try to help. This camera is god if you are trying to acheive a film look. There are much easier to learn choices if you are looking for a "video" type camera. IF you are looking for a cinema style camera this is your best bet in this price range. If you are looking for something that acts liek a video cam, I'd recommend a Panasonic TM300.
