Just got back from Newport Beach (4th of July, 2011). What a mistake. Driving was a nightmare. Oblivious people on bikes swerving around cars, cordoned-off streets, cops surrounding the whole area, and absolutely no parking. After about 40 mins I gave up and left.

@ChicannoTattooart yea them are for rent but they have like neighborhood on neighborhood of houses that u can live in and their very close together but only cuz there beach houses so you don't have no choice but to have houses that close

well all those houses or condos whatever you call them are usually just for rent and not live in homes, could you imagine living in one of those and people partying that close to your house all crowded.

@lokrenzo far as tourist? we are from california its just that most of the people dont live at the beach, maybe the city or the los angeles area. Tourist are mainly people from another state.
