Kenwood does it again. Adding to their new line of in-dash navigation units is the DNX-7140. It is the new 2009 model of the DNX7120 and has some incredible features. Fans of Garmin navigation will be happy to know that the dnx7140 comes with Garmin built-in to the unit. It also features built-in Bluetooth from Parrot. The control is simple and easy to use, just like the other Kenwood navigation units. The screen is bright and clear. With the iPod connection cable, the iPod control is very fast and displays all the information that you could ever want. This is one of the nicest Double DIN navigation units we have seen come through our offices!

  • Can you stream music wirelessly?

  • @suryamoorthi Both this unit, the DNX7140, and the newer model, the DNX7180, will allow you to stream audio from your cell phone via Bluetooth.

  • Do you have to pay every month for the navagation part?

    If so how much?

  • @cjs0071 In-Dash Navigation Receivers do not require a monthly subscription fee for their navigation system. Some may require subscription to take advantage of updating traffic services, however some In-Dash Navigation GPS Receivers have built-in Traffic Tuning for life as well.

  • hey mines diplays "parking off" when i put a dvd in. i can hear it but i cant see it. do you know what i should do? Thanks

  • @hotdrkid4life2 Sounds like the parking brake wire wasn't connected properly. The head unit is trying to tell you to put on the parking brake to safely watch the movie. If the unit was professionally installed, it may be that the installer connected the wire and you just need to apply the parking brake. If the installer may have not connected the brake, the wire must be connected before the unit will allow you to watch videos, this is a safety feature required by law.
