The Republican party is wrought with RINO's and has shifted to the left. Conservatives are leaving the GOP in droves. If the GOP continues to nominate RINO's, like Thompson, then it will be the GOP's fault that the Democrats win the white house.

nakedjanet: a personal attack does not constitute an argument against Thompson's record. Google conservatives against Fred and view his immigration profile. Sen. Thompson voted to grant legal status to Nicaraguans and Cubans who had lived in the United States illegally since 1995, along with their spouses and minor unmarried children. The overall ten year impact of this legislation will be the addition of some 967,000 people to U.S. population.

Fred Thompson is a hypocrite. We would not have 12 to 20 million illegals if he would not have contributed to an "open borders" immigration when he was in the Senate. This is why Americans for Better Immigration gave him a grade of "C". America has had enough rhetoric from political hypocrites and corporate puppets. Stay on TV and stop "acting" like you're a conservative you fraud.
