I must commend this pro active approach by UK authorities however the car driver must be made partly reponsible.This will save lives.

@danno191 because she wasnt aware of this, most car driver's aren't, I am not trying to defend that but when you do your driving test nobody tell's you about blind spot's, the best solution for all of us is just to keep watching area around you all the time, whether you are driving a lorry, a car or you cycle, stay safe on the road's mate;-)

Question.....why just be given to LHD trucks? Why not be given to RHD trucks also? If its said it eliminates the blind spot.....

car drivers should be more aware of trucks give them plenty of room and keep out of their blind spots!!
