The Way He Makes Them Feel - A Michael Jackson Fan Documentary (trailer)

Shortly after Michael Jackson's unexpected death, there was an upsurge in the presence and voices of his fans that for years had been quiet. The Way He Makes Them Feel: A Michael Jackson Fan Documentary focuses on Michael Jackson's fans worldwide, from all walks of life and backgrounds, amplifying how one man changed and affected the lives of so many in both gentle and dramatic ways, through his music and his life. The film also closely follows a select few: including Dan Seaton Brown, a renowned artist who recently sold his 144 square foot portrait of Michael Jackson (comprised entirely of soda cans) to Ripley's Believe It or Not; Alex Bartosch, a young man inspired by MJ whose dance performances have won him First Place in several contests; The Stonum Family, who are inspired by MJ's music and his selfless humanitarianism; and Trevor Jackson, who recently gained attention from the media and celebrities (including Rainn Wilson) for his own incredible Michael Jackson song and dance tribute that circulated on YouTube.

The Way He Makes Them Feel premiered Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Regent Showcase Theatre in Hollywood. The film was also presented at the LA Film + Music Weekend at Laemmle Music Hall on March 25, 2011. The film can be purchased on iTunes for $14.99 to own, or $3.99 for rental.

Or, you can own the official DVD (with EXTRAS!) by ordering from www.hisfans.com today! It is a true must for any Michael Jackson fan to add to their collection!

  • Went to see this on his Birthday, a couple of my friends are interviewed in this, unfortunately they are not in this part of your coming attractions. The live after show was also great and getting to see the Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait in person was great, I just wish I new which dot on his lower lip was mine!

  • @klejackson We are screening again on August 29, 2011 at the Downtown Independent!! Hope you can make it!! hisfans.com

  • I love Michael. He was, and will always be one of the most incredible human beings ever, he changed my life. But that woman at 1:01 saying that Michael's death was worse than 9/11 is just not on. I'm sorry, but it really took me back. I couldn't believe she said that, and that those words would be included in this trailer. As much as I love Michael, nothing can compare to the tragedy of September 11, 2001

  • @ganrella7908 We were really surprised by her comment as well, but we wanted to include it to show the different levels of impact his passing had on people.

  • will this be shown in the UK or is it just an american thing? They should show this everywhere instead of the tabloid garbage that is fed to people!!

  • @Xxqtpie192xX We would love to see it in the UK!! We are trying to get it everywhere. You can actually host your own screening if you are interested: hisfans.com

  • I´m from Slovakia, in Europe (if you may don´t know, cos we´re small :D) I just want to know if I can watch it all somewhere and if it´s only American project, that we won´t have it here? ...sry 4 english :D

  • @mjchangedmylife I liked her comment actually, it showed a global awareness. Not just Americans & their suffering because for a lot of us, there are much worse things than 9/11, MJ's passing is one of them.

  • @ganrella7908 I wasn't 9/11 was an American thing & of course the demonization of Muslims made it a greater impact on them. But it wasn't the be all end all impact for the rest of us. Whereas with MJ, he has a global fanbase. America's attacks are Americans & the plight of Muslims mistreated due to it. I doubt you're very much impacted by the sufferings or attacks in my country. So for me, MJ's death was a global event like no other in recent history & for me it was worse than 9/11 definitely.

  • @mjchangedmylife Thanks for letting me know, greatly appreciated.

  • @MrsRhodaMichaelJacks Thank you!! We are screening again in LA and Indiana for his birthday! Please tell your friends! For more details, visit hisfans.com
