PART3:
Documentary film about :
Hajj ( the five pillars of Islam). Every healthy Muslim hopes that, by the grace of Allah, he will be able to make the pilgrimage to Makkah once during his or her life time.
There are certain people who are not expected to carry out this obligation.
the old;
the sick and disabled;
those who can't afford to make the journey.
NOTE:
Prophet Abraham(as) was not a Jew, nor is there any mention in the Bible of him being a Jew. This is a word that came into being long after him, and it stems solely from the tribe of "Judah".
Of all the twelve tribes of Israel, Judah was one of only two remaining tribes long after the Diaspora brought upon the Israelites by the Babylonians. From that name stems the term Jew or Jewish, and it was a means to establish an identity for themselves separate from that of the other eleven tribes. So while the terms Jew, Jewish and Judaism have come to be the only words synonymous with this race of people today, they where terms unknown to Prophet Abraham(as), who was not a Jew, and would later be applied to only one of the twelve tribes (or Children) of Israel (Jacob).
