  • @mcgd86 no it always comes out square. never fills in the screen. my cam shoots in 16:9 but the program makes it square...:(

  • @ENRIQUEGOITIA, currently having the same problem. although i always save it as .flv do you know how to not make it squarish now? even if i put the setting to HD720p or more still not working.

  • @zoinkclothing in the new project window click "more settings" and then widescreen ...

  • is it 0.0 or 0?

  • @zoinkclothing

yeah i know! I need help! but I think the 16:9 video that was filmed shows up in 4:3 on elements so this tutorial is usefull. if this does not help, check the adobe website they have that stuff.

  • i have the elements 9 and when i'm done editing i save it in mpeg2, and its never full screen, its like squarish once you play it on windows media palyer. damn movie maker made my videos fit the whole screen, but this one just doesn't, am i doing anything wrong, help me

  • mine is shot in 16 by 9 but it does not show up like that in premire.

  • will this work on adobe premiere elements 7?

  • I'm adding lots of pictures. How do I give them all the same duration?

  • I have to ask, did you ever really make a video and see if it turned out widescreen with no black bars on YouTube?
