Not the best effort, but the stars are half tigertail, and half tigertail rolled on bright flash cores. I was trying for a sky-filling tigertail, and about half of them would burn longer and go to flash cores. The break was wierd, and the timing of the stars was off, but it seems like it might be worth pursuing...What do you think?

  • Thanks guys. The irregular break is a mystery, I thought I pasted the it well and broke it hard so I don't know why the usually break. I need to get more consistant sized stars so the flashes happen at once rather than a few at a time.

  • Perhaps some of the stars shifted inside the shell during firing, or handling, such as when you pasted it. Was it slightly over filled with burst, and were the stars separated from the burst with a layer of tissue?

Dont stop trying! Keep it up.

  • I also like the cores. Very bright effect, and a cleaner look than I was expecting.

  • I actually thought that looked very good for an unintentional effect. I like the flash cores, which produce a glitter effect at the end, and I liked the odd rectangular break... Possible the stars have different masses and therefore spread out differently, or the shells may have not been bound together very well. Nice mistake on your part, if it is one :) 5/5
