I disagree. Population increase is a good thing......and the natural form. Anything else hinders developement. As people become more selfish and stupid they have less children.......thereby killing the goose that lays the golden egg. Someday people will learn.......population growth is the key to economic growth. In the meantime.....the decline continues. CATHOLIC STATE please!

@amaqula I don’t think continual increase in the human population is good either for themselves or the planet. It is always the case that as people become better educated they tend to have fewer children. However, their children stand much greater chance of survival into adulthood. In contrast people in poverty tend always to have far more children with a much lower chance of survival. You want the latter, I the former. No theocratic tyranny please!

They already have children dummy.......that's why we call them...Father. And the men must choose.....priesthood or marriage. Women can choose to become nuns if they want. Population growth is the only source of economic growth and scientific developement there is. Without it there just isn't the impetus or incentive. Bet they never taught you that at your dumbed down secular school eh?! CATHOLIC STATE please!

@amaqula This is absurd. You have conceded that the finest of men, in your eyes, should not have children. So what do YOU expect? It is women who should be doing the choosing. In effect you are advocating they have second rate partners and just keep having children. Overall I think human population growth needs to slow down not speed up.

Yes.....cos the priests have no vested interest. Look at secularist politicians and economists. They are compromised by their love of contraception and sexual lives. They know that contracption eventually snuffs the life out of a society.....but they can't say so.....cos their own cabinets are full of them. Total FAIL. CATHOLIC STATE please

@amaqula I get you now. Roman Catholicism teaches that people of the priesthood should not have any reproductive vocation. Also, believers must concede doctrinal authority to the priesthood. In this case a doctrine specifically aimed at people who do have a reproductive vocation. Do you really advocate that the people who have the responsibility of parenthood should defer to celibate virgins and out and out hypocrites in this matter?

Women should be loved and respected till death. And not abandoned or used! And they should not be infertile or ignoring their vocation as mothers.....like atheist women. That's why athiest societies are failing......but atheists are too stupid and too removed from reality to figure that out. LOL......it's easy to outwit an atheist. I guess everybody is doing it. No cos contraception defeats the whole purpose of fertility and procreation.....essential for the well being of any nation. If you can't figure that out......then it's extinction for you. Catholicism is the greatest friend of women.....just reading in the paper yesterday that studies show religious women are more resislient than atheist women. Yeah! And we're more moral, more fertile and more usefull. CATHOLIC STATE coming up!
