  • Yes you will. I have been trying something new. I have found out that I am actually allergic to bread and gluten. So I cut it out and now eat 6-8 meals a day every 3 hours.. Stay tuned for m y new segment with health expert Dimitri Giankoulus from Pure Motivation Fitness.

  • The idea of Slow Carbohydrate means that beans are considered a slow moving carb. They have a tonne of fiber so they make you feel fuller longer. Thus burn slowly. I thought beans were classified as a legume. But if you stick to it it works. You have to be disciplined. The ice packs theory has really yet to be tested on my part. Overall you lose a tonne of weight, but as with any diet its challenging. If you eat out all the time, it really easy to follow !

  • if you try this diet for a few months, lose weight, then get sick of not eating pizza, bread, fruit etc. and you decide to start eating that stuff will you gain it all back?:S

  • I thought he said that you, if you ate breakfast with at least 30 % protein in it, you're free to go nuts the rest of the day

  • Hello, could you send me these rules? This sounds like it could really work.I need to lose maybe about 10-20 pounds. And i heard on Dr.Oz that that ''Pig out'' day works very well.So if you arent to busy please send them to me.Thank you for your time.

  • I am on Atkins right now and guess what... it's the same diet! Only the first phase of Atkins cuts out basically all carbs. It's called induction, but after the first couple of weeks you introduce more and more slow carbs. I have lost almost 50 lbs in less than 90 days and all I don't eat is white products. The cheat day is something I learned in 2001 from some bodybuilder friends. Old information but good. The cold therapy is something I haven't heard before and started that a few days ago. To

  • @mikecazzx I'm not an expert on nutrition but as far as I know, glucose comes from all legumes and beans this diet allows you to eat. So, it's very plausible one can stick to it in the long term. Atkins is a very diferent story: in his diet, we have a very little source of glucose because the main source of energy is meat and proteins. If you don't have carbs, your body starves to death. In slow carb diet, you have them.

  • Can sweet potatoes substitute regular potatoes? As an Irishman i'm finding it very difficult to cut out of my diet :P Incredible book!

  • I just want to say that I have done TONS of diets and am sure that I have done something similar to 4 hour body diet. My take on it is that YOU most likely WILL gain the weight back. You really have to learn to psychologically program yourself to NOT eat refined sugar and flour for a LONG time, otherwise you GAIN it back. So, discipline yourself to eat less, healthier, exercise often, and eat more protein. Since last yr I have lost 36 lbs and gained 15 lbs in between that I had to loose again.

  • i almost dont crap anymore, really i am became stronger each week, this shit works folks.

  • Cut out white flour, cut out fruit, gee - this is simply the old atkins diet repackaged. Of course you will lose weight. But where are you going to get the glucose that every cell in your body runs on, even that big cell called your BRAIN? We run on glucose. Sure I bet I will lost weight like a rockstar, then I will gain it all back once I start eating more carbs. This does not sound like a long term solution.
