Gloucester, MA striped bass fishing at sunrise surfcasting at small fish, better than fresh water?

Early morning striped bass fishing. Not big fish but it was a fun morning for a very slow fall run. Striped bass fishing this Fall in Gloucester has been poor to sad so when these fish pushed in a sunrise it was fun. They where tight into the rocks and you got one fish almost every cast. fish 4-7 pounds so better than fresh water any day.

@brianmoc thanks Brian - does your friend put a rattle inside that lure? down here where i am we dont often have enough fish around in the surf to have much luck on plugs. usually there are a few stripers around at first light but not more... we dont have them passing in schools as it seems you have up there. we get them schooling in the rivers but not on the beach. wondering which one to order for the canal I described to you previously - sinking?
