My family... uh... loves gin and tonics. They are considered "big boy drinks"... as in, "i can't have a big boy drink until i know one of those blankets is mine tonight."

  • I'm still laughing.... This version of the Gin and Tonic reminds me of a drinking buddy's perfect dry martini. He poured four ounces of gin into an ice filled shaker and then, ever so slowly, 'passed' the tightly capped vermouth bottle over it. Then he shook the ingredients like crazy before pouring it into the martini glass with a couple of olives. I think Grandpa Reeves had the same idea in mind with his 'splash' of tonic. No need to ruin perfectly good gin, eh?
